BASIC SURGERY COURSE ON DENTAL IMPLANT TREATMENT

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The aim of this two day course is to provide basic implant surgery principles and skills to physicians who have not yet started to perform implant treatments or who are not satisfied with their level of practice. This course delivered by Prof. Dr. A. Burak Çankaya and Prof. Dr. Korkud Demirel Organization and management is by  Quintessence Turkey.

COURSE FLOW

1st  day

9:30-13:00 didactic training
Lunch
14:00-14:30 introduction to hand instruments, physiodispensers and consumables
14:30-17:30 Implant site preparation, implant placement and suturing on the plastic models and animal cadaver model
17:30-18:00 discussion and general evaluation

2nd day

9:30-13:00 didactic training
Lunch
14:00-14:30 Introduction to implant specifications
14:30-17:30 Implant site preparation, implant placement and suturing on the phantom training models mounted on manikins

 

HAND INSTRUMENTS, IMPLANTS AND CONSUMABLES

Hand instruments, scalpels and sutures are being provided by Hu-Friedy Group.

Physiodispensers are being provided by WH.

Implants and surgical implant sets are being provided by Neobiotech.

All other consumables will be ready for your disposal, but it is advisable to bring your loupes.

 

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

The number of participants is limited to 16 people, there are no prerequisites other than being a dentist.
